Story Structure Course — $179
Plotters, Pantsers, and Plansters alike, join us for this online course where you will structure your story from beginning to end! By the end of the course, you will have a complete outline so you can start writing your novel or screenplay.Day One - Saturday, July 18 - 10:00-16:00
Through a series of exercises, you will develop your main character’s goals while creating your story and subplots. You will have a rough outline by the end of the day.
Day Two - Sunday, July 19 - 11:00-14:00
We will review the main elements of your outline, and you can ask questions during our Q&A.
Day Three - Monday, July 20 - 19:00-21:00
Final Q&A session - Polish your story and come back with additional questions.
Screenwriting - The Basics — $349
This seven-week workshop teaches you the basics of screenwriting while you complete a short script. You will learn how to format your screenplay, create compelling characters, write effective dialogue, write scenes, and develop your plot. At the end of the course, you will have a one-on-one meeting with Kim to discuss your script and next steps.Coming this Fall
Video Game Writing Portfolio — $349
This seven-week workshop will help you develop your video game writing portfolio. You will write elements for your portfolio, including: a brief scene in script format, character bio, lore entry, object description, and barks/NPC dialogue. At the end of the course, you will have a one-on-one meeting with Kim to discuss your portfolio and next steps.
