Kimberley Ann Sparks is an award-winning writer who works in film, television, video games, and podcasts. She’s written on preschool series that have aired on Treehouse, TVO, and BBC Kids. Kim also writes scripts and dialogue for video games, and she has worked on games such as Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
Kim’s scripts have placed in many screenwriting contests, including the The Writers’ Lab NYC, Page Awards, and BlueCat Screenplay Competition. She was selected to participate in the Stowe Story Labs Writers’ Retreat in 2024 and 2025, and she was named to the IWC’s Best of List in 2026 with a feature script.
Kim has an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia. She’s also a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre’s Prime Time Television Program and UCLA’s Professional Screenwriting Program. She teaches screenwriting at Toronto Metropolitan University, and has taught at film, television, and video game writing courses at universities and colleges in the Greater Toronto Area for over 20 years.
